Travel Interruptus

We never made it out of Rochester! Storms along the East Coast disrupted our flight plans and we were not prepared to deal with the ensuing chaos. It became clear we would not be able to join our planned river cruise any time soon. United offered us a flight to DC the next day with no onward connection to Nice, so we elected to stay in Rochester. That is where we are now.

We have spent time with our grandson and will get to see some people here sooner than we had planned. This is not the first time in our travels that this has happened. The East Coast weather can wreak havoc on long planned flight schedules.

I got to participate in our Coop Board Meeting today, on Zoom.

I’ll plan to post our activities a bit more often than I might have from France.

  1. Sorry your vacation plan has changed. Enjoy your Rochester stay. FYI, Lauri and I are moving to Cleveland next week. After I looked around Cleveland 2 months ago and saw what the city offers in nearby shopping, Jewish community, sports teams, relatives etc. I asked Lauri about moving and she said yes. We bought a home and sold our Longboat Key home quickly and we’re off. I had 28 wonderful years on LBK. Please contact us in your travels in our area. Stay well!!

  2. Paul, Carol,
So sorry your plans got interrupted.
If you are in the mood for it, I’d like to share some TBK- related info privately with you.

    Be well,
