Goldberg Berbeco Foundation, Inc

Updated November 30, 2007

We are a small family foundation with roots in the 60's and a strong identification with the City of Rochester and County of Monroe in New York State. We also have interests in the Boston, MA, Vermont and the Madison WI regions.

A detailed discussion of our grant making guidelines is available from the Grantmakers Guide, published biannually by the Rochester Grantmakers Forum, Email: rgf@grantmakers.org (or see below)

More information and our 1998 - 2006 990 PFs may be found at  http://www.guidestar.org/. Search for "Goldberg Berbeco".   The data is in Portable Document Format (pdf) and is 1,229 Kb.  Instructions and links to the reader are available on the site.

We are doing grantmaking on a roughly semi annual schedule. We have just met on November 20, 2007. Our next meeting will be in May 2007. For the Spring grant making, requests should be in hand by the end of April, 2008 at the latest.  We accept preliminary requests by phone, mail and email: foundation@goldberg-online.net. We then require the Common Application Form which can be obtained from Rochester Grantmakers Forum . If the total size of the program you are requesting funding is $10,000 or over we want part 4, the logic model, completed. For grantseekers out of our region who have already prepared grant materials, we will consider them without our forms.

The Annual Report for 2003-2004 can be found here.
