Jabu Storks
Another rare bird that is seen only in this part of the world. The
Jabu Stork mates for life. This bird stands six feet tall,
and has a wing span of 11 feet in flight, and it does fly. The red
ring that is barely visible in this image is a "mood ring"
There are no feathers from the bottom of the red to the top of the
head and there is no pigment where the red is. As the bird
get more excited the ring gets brighter and brighter. We are told
that they really glow in mating season.
