As we drove down the Ice Field Highway we came to the Columbia Glacier
and
felt that we had no choice but to take a short hike onto the glacier.
The Ice Field Center
and lower glacier can be seen behind Carol. You can't see the parking
lot which is
hidden by the lip of the glacier and the terminal moraine.
